"The Navier-Stokes equations - II".

The Navier-Stokes equation for fluid flow is arguably the most important physical equation for which there is no existence and uniqueness theory.

In the first part of this this two-part review (SLS160306) I gave a physical derivation of this equation from a simple microscopic model of the fluid.
In this second part I will give an overview of what is known about the local and global well- posedness of the equations.
