"The Navier-Stokes equations".

The Navier-Stokes equation for fluid flow is arguably the most important physical equation for which there is no existence and uniqueness theory. In this two-part review I will give a physical derivation of this equation, note some of the assumptions going into the derivation and discuss what is known about the well-posedness of the equation from a mathematical and physical point of view.
