"An introduction to affine Grassmann codes".

Affine Grassmann codes are an interesting class of linear error-correcting codes that were introduced and studied recently. These can be viewed as a variant of generalized Reed–Muller codes and are closely related to the Grassmann codes. We will give an introduction to these codes and discuss a number of their properties, including the problem of complete determination of their automorphism groups.

This is based on a joint work with Peter Beelen and Tom Høholdt, and also with Krishna Kaipa.
