"Entropy in noncommutative dynamical systems".

By a noncommutative dynamical systems I mean an automorphism of an algebra of operators on a Hilbert space. There have been numerous attempts to define a numerical invariant of such systems analogous to the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy. I will describe the most successful constructions and present some of the main examples and problems in the theory.
