Boris Kruglikov "Random matrices".

In this talk I review the old classical theory of limit theorems for the products of random matrices. Namely one consider the asymptotic of the spectrum for the product of independent identically distributed matrices given some probability law for the matrices entries. I will discuss a relation of this problem to dynamical systems theory and especially to piece-wise affine systems, which we studied with M. Rypdal (here). Another name for the problem I discuss is a random walk on projective spaces. I don't expect any special knowledge to understand the talk: it will be presented on an elementary level.
